Do you know that you may now completely move your Airtime from one network to another? If you're still not sure what I'm talking about, it means you can now transfer your credit from MTN to Airtel, 9Mobile to Glo, Glo to 9Mobile, Glo to MTN, or any other network to which you wish to move your airtime. As long as you have adequate airtime on your line, it's doable.
So we've moved on from the days when you could only transfer your airtime to subscribers.
So, instead of being able to just transfer airtime to subscribers on the same network, you may now transfer and share your airtime with customers on different networks in Nigeria.
How do you move your airtime from one network to another?
1. Dial *931# from your phone.
2. Enter number 6 to change your default pin (which is usually 0000) to any four-digit PIN of your choosing.
3. Once you've successfully changed your pin, dial *931# again and choose option 3 for Airtime Swap.
4. Now type in the beneficiary's phone number (which is the number you are sending the Airtime to)
5. Choose the amount you want to send.
6. Finally, enter your PIN (the one you changed from the default).
7. You're right! What else is there to say? The airtime has been transferred successfully.
